Professional CD Repair is safe for your disk.

A CD can be professionally repaired multiple times throughout its life. The plastic layer or "play side" of the disk is 1200 microns thick. Light scratches, and most scratches we see are "light", are 5-10 microns deep. That being said, it is possible to repair a disk with light scratches approximately 120 times.
